Russ Olmon

Campus Pastor, Russ Olmon

Russ was born in Denton, Texas. After four years in the USAF he felt called to ministry. He graduated from Bible College in Virginia and returned to attend Dallas Seminary. In 1989 Russ, his wife, and 15 friends planted Meadow Creek Church in Mesquite. In 2004 Russ led his church into a merger and established the first Community Campus of Lake Pointe Church. He is also serves as the Pastor of Community Campus Ministry. Russ and Susie live in Rockwall. Their only child, Stephen, works as a business professional and entrepeneur in Dallas, TX.

Ryan Lewis

Campus Pastor, Ryan Lewis

Ryan began attending Lake Pointe in 2002. As a successful entrepreneur and businessman, Ryan began to look for opportunities to use his gifts and talents to serve, eventually reducing his hours at work in order to take on various ministry leadership roles.

Wes Stecker

Campus Pastor, Wes Stecker

Originally from Oklahoma, Wes moved to the Dallas area in 2001 and taught history and coached football, basketball and track in Garland. He and his family also began attending Lake Pointe Church at that time. A few years after he started teaching, Wes was prompted to begin coursework at Dallas Theological Seminary. He later joined the pastoral staff at Lake Pointe Church in the role of Membership Pastor. Now serving as the Forney Campus Pastor, Wes’ passion is to see God transform lives in families and communities in the Forney area. Wes and his wife (Erin) have three kids; Will, Jenna and Kelsey.

Nate Merrill

Campus Pastor, Nate Merrill

Originally from Missouri, Nate moved to the Dallas area in 2001 to attend Dallas Theological Seminary upon his graduation from the University of Missouri. He was on staff in churches in Texas and South Carolina before coming to Lake Pointe. He loves tofind new and innovative ways to share the story of Jesus Christ with others and to encourage believers to never stop growing in their faith. Nate and C.J. have three children - Hannah, Malachi & Elijah.
